Amanda Baker Soft Furnishings began trading in October 2002 receiving a fantastic response & has continued to grow the business & celebrate 20 years of trading in October 2022 continuing to offer new styles and ranges keeping with trends, and styles to suit the needs of each individual customer.

Amanda has been interested in textiles and soft furnishings for many years and has several years of experience in retail relating to soft furnishings.

Amanda’s qualifications within furnishings include;

NCFE Advanced
NCFE Professional
City & Guilds 7802 in Soft furnishings
City & Guilds 7307 further and adult education teaching certificate
NCFE Level 1 Patchwork

Amanda has also worked as an adult education tutor teaching soft furnishings and was a regional finalist in the Shell Live Wire Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2004.

Amanda’s bespoke window dressing service offers home consultations offering advice, measuring & estimating, full making-up service of curtains, roman blinds, tie-backs, cushion covers, upholstered pelmets & much more either using fabrics from our wide selection of pattern books or customer own fabric.

A fitting service is available on request.

With spacious workroom facilities, a wide collection of pattern books & display samples for customers to view.

There are free parking facilities and we offer home visits for disabled customers.
